Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of the SpaceDoc application and the SpaceDoc AI subscription service ("the service"), operated by SpaceDoc ("we", "us").

1. The service

SpaceDoc AI provides metered access to AI model inference through SpaceDoc's relay. Your plan includes a monthly usage allowance; when it is exhausted, service pauses until the next monthly reset. Usage never incurs charges beyond your subscription price.

You are interacting with AI systems, not people. The agents, chat, cell fills, summaries, and interactive widgets in SpaceDoc are produced by machine-learning models operated by third-party providers. Their output can be false, incomplete, out of date, or misleading, and it is not advice. Do not rely on factual claims in AI output without checking them independently. You are responsible for how you use what the service produces.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use SpaceDoc AI, and you may not make it available to anyone under 18. The service is offered only in regions supported by our inference providers; we may refuse or suspend access from elsewhere.

3. Accounts and credentials

Your subscription is linked to a credential stored on your device. Keep it private. You may not share, sell, lease, or transfer it, and you may not offer the relay, the underlying model APIs, or raw model access to third parties as a product — SpaceDoc AI is licensed for use inside the SpaceDoc app. We may revoke credentials that are shared, resold, or used for abuse.

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to violate law, infringe rights, or circumvent usage limits. In addition, because the service is built on third-party models, you agree not to:

• use output to train, fine-tune, distil, or otherwise develop machine-learning models, or to build a product that competes with our inference providers;
• scrape, harvest, or resell inputs or outputs, or present the service as originating from a provider (or a provider's service as originating from us);
• present AI-generated output as wholly human-created in order to deceive;
• use the service for automated decisions that materially affect a person's safety, legal rights, health, finances, housing, employment, or access to essential services without a qualified human reviewing the decision, or to provide medical, legal, or financial advice that requires a licence without a licensed professional's involvement;
• generate content that sexualises, exploits, or endangers minors, or content that violates the usage policies below.

Use of the service is also subject to the usage and acceptable-use policies of the third-party AI providers that serve your requests, which are incorporated here by reference; current copies are available from support on request. We may suspend or terminate access that violates these terms or those policies, including at a provider's request.

5. Billing

Subscriptions renew monthly through Stripe until canceled. You can cancel any time via the billing portal; access continues until the end of the paid period. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.

6. Your content and AI output

Your vault stays on your device. You keep all rights to what you write and, as between you and us, to the output the service produces for you. Content you submit to agent operations is sent to the inference provider for the model you chose, solely to produce the result, and is not used by us or by our providers to train models. Providers may keep request logs briefly for abuse monitoring; see the Privacy Policy for retention periods.

7. Third-party models

The models behind the service are third-party technology; any model or provider names shown in the app identify that technology and are trademarks of their respective owners. SpaceDoc is an independent product and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or a substitute for any provider's own service. We may change the underlying providers or models at any time without materially reducing the service.

8. Disclaimers and liability

The service is provided "as is". To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be announced in the app or by email before they take effect.
